Among the various grades that stainless steel is divided into there is a grade of austenitic steel containing columbium. The fittings made from it are known as Stainless Steel 347 Pipe Fittings. They are widely used at elevated temperatures and have amazing forming and welding qualities. The addition of columbium to Stainless steel 347 Weld fittings offers resistance to intergranular corrosion. It also displays improved resistance to corrosion in a strongly oxidizing environment. They are widely used to mount, connect, and configure other products.

Stainless Steel 347 Pipe Fittings offer stress to rupture and high creep properties. They can be welded using regular fusion and sensitization approaches. But oxyacetylene welding is not advised for these ASTM A403 WP 347 90 degree Elbows. After exposure to the temperature in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 427 degrees C to 816 degrees C. They display resistance to intergranular corrosion. Stainless steel 347H Lateral Tee is stabilized in contradiction of chromium carbide precipitation by the addition of tantalum.
Most of the main features in the UNS S34700 Concentric Reducer are due to the addition of columbium. It is ideally non-magnetic in the annealed condition and can be hardened only by cold working. DIN 1.4550 Stainless steel Pipe Bend is used in furnace parts, boilers, pressure tanks and vessels, and heat exchanger tubes. Moreover, A403 WP347H Stub End is also used in pulp and paper industries, oil and petrochemical industries, and chemical processing equipment used at high temperatures. They are available in a variety of types such as tubes, tees, stubs, reducers, and end caps and are durable.
