Stainless steel is bifurcated into various grades depending upon the qualities of the material. Stainless Steel 321 Pipe Fittings is one such fitting that is made up of 321 grade. It is a common austenitic 18/8 grade with tungsten added to it in trace amounts. It is in a similar line with 304 grade however the Stainless Steel 321 Elbow has tungsten that is 5 times in quantity as compared to the carbon content of the 304 grade. They are not vulnerable to sensitization. Hence can be used in applications that can cause an alloy to become sensitized. The higher titanium content in 321 Stainless mandrel bends also ensures that carbide precipitation is eliminated that might occur due to exposure to welding at high temperatures.

DIN 1.4541 Stainless steel Long Radius Elbow displays outstanding resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to a temperature range of 427 degrees C to 816 degrees C. It has a temperature rating of 900 degrees C. 321 Short Radius Stub Ends are readily welded and are easy to form and very ductile. They can be welded using regular welding methods with or without the addition of filler metals. When these ASTM A403 Gr.WP321 End caps are MAG welded a power source and a pulse current is required for good weldability. They are used in thermal oxidizers, refinery equipment, high temperature chemical equipment, and so on.

ASTM A403 WP321h Equal tee is used to join 3 different pipes and infuse the material flowing through them. Local depletion in the weld area can lead to intergranular corrosion to some extent if it is later exposed to severe corrosive conditions. Stainless Steel 321 Reducer is widely used in applications such as boilers, pressure vessels, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper industry, and so on. They display a long service life and low maintenance.
