Stainless steel is widely used in a variety of applications, from pipes and bars to sheets and tubes. They are also divided into different grades as well to bifurcate among them depending upon the properties. Stainless Steel 304 Plate is one such product that is made according to 304 grade. They are used in applications in various industries due to their strength and moderate resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel 1.4301 plates are thin sheets that have a higher strength value. They can bear a high temperature of up to 870 degrees C. ASTM A240 SS 304 Sheet are also said to be cost efficient and are available at a lower price as compared to other stainless steel.

Stainless steel 304 shim Manufacturer recommend these due to their excellent welding ability that produces less carbide precipitation and localized corrosion. We are Supplier of ss 304 chequered plate with thickness ranges up to 200mm and the length depends on the application. ASTM A240 Type 304 Rolling Sheets need to be cold work so that they can generate higher tensile strength. SS 304 Clad Plate that is heavily welded post-weld annealing is necessary. This provides maximum resistance to corrosion. These Stainless Steel 304 Flat Sheets have a variation in the grade of stainless steel that is denoted by a suffix of letter ‘L’ after 304 number and indicates that it has lower carbon content.
ASTM A240 Grade 304 Hot rolled Plate made with the lower carbon content version displays improved weldability. However, the 304L version offers less tensile and yield strength as compared to the regular 304 grade. UNS S30400 Polished Plate has molybdenum added to them that gives them luster and makes it easy to clean. They are widely used in the medical sector due to the ease of sterilizing them. 304 Stainless Steel Flat Shim also has a rough surface type known as chequered plates that can be used in the construction of the staircase.
