EN353 Steel Rod changes to martensitic from ferrite after the microstructure is exchanged. And it becomes hard and tough post after heat treatment. Steel EN353 Bright bars are used in a lot of applications in the automobile industry such as heavy duty tools, shafts, camshafts, and pinion. BS EN 353-2 Hexagonal Bar is said to be durable due to the increase in carbon content. High tensile strength is displayed by EN353 Solid Bar due to the molybdenum content in it. Good impact properties at lower temperatures along with resistance to wear are also offered by DIN EN 353-1 Hot Rolled Round Bar.
